Mrs. Kelsey Bailey, Principal

I was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and moved to the United States when I was 17 to attend Auburn University on an athletic scholarship as a springboard and platform diver. I transferred to the University of Utah and earned a BS Degree in Exercise and Sport Science and a BS in Physical Education Teacher Education. I earned my M.Ed. from Colorado State University in Education and Human Resources Studies in 2015.

My career in education began in Prescott Valley, AZ, moved to Granbury, TX and then to Fort Collins, CO where I landed at Poudre High School from 2011-2019. I've been a H.S. Physical Education, Health and Science teacher, and have coached a variety of sports including Track & Field, Volleyball and Swimming & Diving.

This is my fourth year at Highland High School and I am looking forward to continued work with our students, families and community.

I have been married for 13 years and am blessed with three amazing children. I'm an avid college sports fan, especially football and basketball, but watch and support them all.
